We're back from an extremely successful Relapse Contamination tour with MISERY INDEX and ORIGIN! After two blown tires, a new alternator, a major tune up, some trailer light rewiring and massive amounts of liquor consumed, we've made it back alive! We'd like to thank all the fans that came out to support us and all the cool people we met along the way. It was great touring with MISERY INDEX, ORIGIN and their crews and we hope our paths cross again in the near future!

In other news, after almost five years together ABYSMAL DAWN have parted ways with guitarist Jamie Boulanger. Currently Jamie has other priorities that he needs to take care of in his life, including his new baby girl. We wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.

ORIGIN, MISERY INDEX, and ABYSMAL DAWN join forces for Relapse Records 2008 Contamination Tour

ORIGIN, MISERY INDEX, and ABYSMAL DAWN will join forces for the 2008 installment of the Relapse Records Contamination Tour. The MySpace Metal, Decibel Magazine, and SickDrummer sponsored tour kicks off on July 21st in St. Louis, MO. A listing of confirmed tour dates and cities can be found below with more to be announced soon.

ORIGIN recently released their Antithesis album to critical acclaim in April. The band recently debuted their first video for the album, for "Finite", online at Headbanger's Blog (international / non-US viewers can view the video here ). MISERY INDEX has recently completed work on their follow-up album to their Relapse debut, Discordia. The new full-length, Traitors, was recorded in Salem, MA with Kurt Ballou (DISFEAR, COLISEUM, GENGHIS TRON) and is expected to see a September 30th North American release date (October 8th internationally). MISERY INDEX will also release a digital-only EP, Dead Sam Walking, next Tuesday, June 10th, that will feature a post-Discordia collection of vinyl-only material and live tracks. ABYSMAL DAWN released their Relapse debut, Programmed To Consume, in mid-May. The band is currently out on a Western U.S. headlining tour in support of its release. The Los Angeles based group will be celebrating the release of "Programmed to Consume," with a CD/Vinyl release show May 15th at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, CA. ABSYMAL DAWN will be performing the entire album as well as a few songs from their debut record "From Ashes." Also performing that night will be LETUM ASCENSUS, THE CAUTERIZED, DREAMING DEAD and ISOLATION INFAMY.
